ICL Open Day 2024 – A Successful Event Welcoming Prospective Students

Last Friday, the ICL Education Centre opened its doors to prospective students for the highly anticipated ICL Open Day 2024. The event, aimed at students interested in Business and Early Childhood Education (ECE) programmes, provided valuable insights into academic offerings, career pathways, and a special $1,000 scholarship opportunity for all attendees.
The event attracted a diverse group of international students already residing in Auckland and surrounding areas, reflecting strong interest in both the Business and ECE programmes.
The day began with a warm welcome from ICL’s Principal and Chairman, Ewen Mackenzie-Bowie, setting a positive tone for the sessions ahead. Dr. Syed Jamali led the Business programmes information session, offering attendees a comprehensive overview of the courses and career prospects. This was followed by an engaging presentation from ECE lecturers, Hemal Manaktala and Bindu Bansal, who highlighted the unique features of the ECE programme.
Marketing Director, Scarlett Li, wrapped up the event by providing essential information about the benefits of ICL’s programmes and detailed options for students aspiring to gain residency after completing their studies. A Q&A session and personalised one-on-one consultations with regional marketers offered students further guidance on making informed decisions about their academic futures.
In addition to the informative sessions, attendees enjoyed a selection of appetisers and refreshments, and a raffle draw with some special prizes, making it a well-rounded and welcoming event.
