Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our new Business and ECE (Early Childhood Education) students for our July Intake. The students participated in comprehensive orientation sessions, conducted both in-person and online, to ensure that they received all the necessary academic information to start their academic journey with us. During the sessions, our esteemed Programme Directors shared valuable insights about their respective programmes, including the curriculum, academic expectations, and career opportunities. Furthermore, our dedicated student support services were introduced to the students, providing them with essential information about the resources available to help them succeed in their studies and overall student experience.
On 9th July, the orientation for the Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood Education) programme took place. This session was overseen by the programme manager, Meripa Toso, and programme lecturers Hemal Manaktala and Bindu Bansal.
The following day, on 10th July, a comprehensive orientation meeting was held for students enrolled in our business programmes. This meeting encompassed the diverse array of programmes offered, including the new Master Business Informatics by Thesis and Master Management in Healthcare programmes, as well as the existing programmes such as the Master of Business Informatics, Master of Management, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Informatics, Postgraduate Diploma in Business, Bachelor of Business Information Systems, and New Zealand Diploma in Business. Programme Manager Premalatha Sampath guided the orientation session for the business students, providing important information and insights to help them make the most of their academic journey
Despite the mounting competition in the education market and the tightening regulations around immigration, ICL continues growing as we are dedicated to expanding and enhancing our curriculum to ensure that we continue to provide high-quality education and programmes that are specifically designed to meet the evolving demands of the current work environment and the specific needs of individuals in New Zealand. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to support and be a part of our students’ journey as we work together to achieve success.
