Master of Management (Construction Project Management)

The Master of Management with specialisation in Construction Project Management aims to enable students to critically examine contemporary management theories and practices while developing advanced expertise in construction project management. The programme prepares graduates to conduct applied research and apply strategic and analytical approaches to lead, manage, and deliver complex construction and infrastructure projects in an environment of ubiquitous and continuous change.

Building on prior undergraduate study in business, management, construction, engineering, or related disciplines, this specialisation equips students with high-level knowledge and practical capabilities in construction project management. It integrates core management and leadership principles with specialised competencies in project planning, cost control, procurement, and construction delivery.

Graduates will develop the capability to critically evaluate and apply advanced project planning, risk management, and sustainability frameworks to the delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects. The programme emphasises culturally responsive and globally relevant approaches, preparing graduates to operate effectively within the built environment sector across diverse contexts.

Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and applied research, students will gain the skills to manage project lifecycles, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality and sustainability standards. Graduates are prepared to become skilled practitioners and strategic leaders within construction project management.
