Showcasing Applied Learning: NZDB & BBIS Students Present Poster Exhibition

On 16 June, students from the New Zealand Diploma in Business (NZDB) and the Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) programmes at ICL Education Group participated in a dynamic applied learning activity that culminated in a professional poster exhibition. The event served as an opportunity for students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application in a collaborative, academic setting.
Guided by our experienced academic staff, the activity integrated key concepts from two essential papers: NZDB5210 Managing Business Operations and NZDB5214 Managing Projects. Students worked in teams to design and present posters that demonstrated their understanding of business operations, project planning, and management principles in action.
The exhibition not only highlighted students’ academic development but also fostered essential transferable skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and professional communication—core competencies that will support their future success in both business and Information industries.
This initiative reflects ICL’s continued commitment to providing quality education that combines academic theory with practical learning experiences.
