Master of Management (Marketing)
The Master of Management with specialisation in Marketing aims to enable students to critically examine contemporary management theories and practices while developing advanced expertise in marketing strategy and analytics. The programme prepares graduates to conduct applied research and utilise data-driven insights to lead, manage, and transform organisations in an environment of ubiquitous and continuous change.
Building on prior undergraduate study in business, management, or related disciplines, this specialisation equips students with high-level knowledge and practical capabilities in marketing. It integrates core management and leadership principles with specialised marketing competencies, including advanced marketing analytics, consumer behaviour theory, and the application of AI-enabled marketing tools.
Graduates will develop the ability to critically evaluate complex market environments and design, implement, and optimise strategic marketing initiatives across diverse organisational contexts. The programme emphasises culturally responsive and globally relevant approaches, ensuring graduates can effectively engage with dynamic markets and diverse audiences.
Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and applied research, students will gain the skills to translate data into actionable insights, support organisational decision-making, and drive innovation in marketing practice.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- An original bachelor’s degree or Graduate Diploma in a business-related subject from a recognised institution, including full transcripts, or
- Evidence of acquiring the relevant skills and knowledge through appropriate work or professional experience in business studies or a related area.
- Undergraduate degree in a different discipline with relevant skills and knowledge through professional experience.
- For International students, *Academic IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 overall (with no band score lower than 6.0 and gained within the past two years in one examination), or any other equivalent in a test recognised by NZQA.
